Cheesy polenta with butter
Cheesy polenta with butter is a great side dish for roasted meats but can also be served as a vegetarian main dish with a garden salad.

Prepare and cool the polenta according to the base recipe. Cut it into strips about 1.5 cm thick (0.6 inch).

Preheat the oven to 180 °C and butter a baking tray.

Place a layer of polenta, spread it with melted butter and add a layer of cheese on top. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up.

Brush the top with butter and bake it until golden brown (30 min). Sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
